In early 2023, I collaborated with Leafly once again on Lumen was Leafly's social justice initiative that was meant to uplift Black voices in the world of cannabis.
There's an incredible amount of Black & Brown people that were and still are incarcerated due to a substance that is largely being decriminalized. That record follows them the rest of their lives & effects the lives of there their families. Given the recent decriminalization of cannabis throughout the U.S., Lumen sought to amplify Black stories and voices to make sure they were seen and heard.
The approach was goal was to create graphics that showcased the role of cannabis in the world of music, sports and everyday life.
